ZSentry API: you can easily access the ZSentry “bare metal” for maximum flexibility & performance. ZSentry API is the server-side way to send, read and store secure email & files with your own choice of email server. Also works client-side. No installation or plugin. Works in Windows, Mac, and Linux, with .NET, C#, Java, PHP, PowerBuilder, and more. Works with Exchange Server and Postfix.

Sender and recipients can use one or all three ways, in any location or device (Anywhere, Anyway). ZSentry is a security platform. ZSentry and secure email service Zmail have been extensively peer reviewed since 2004 with the result that they offer higher security and usability than PKI/X.509, PGP, IBE and other secure email systems, with published comparisons and references.

Usability, privacy, security, cost reduction, and high-value services (for example, self-destruct) are some of the main reasons to use ZSentry, when compared with alternatives such as regular email, fax, postal mail, or overnight delivery. ZSentry is also compatible with secure email solutions PKI/X.509 and PGP.

1. To your customers: in spite of everyone's best efforts, customers are at risk regarding confidentiality and privacy with regular email.
   
   Unfortunately, hackers can and do access Internet systems and desktop computers, taking advantage of the lack of protection that besets regular email as it passes through the Internet and is downloaded. Customers are not trained to not disclose sensitive data in an email. If someone were to intercept your customer emails, sensitive information may easily fall into the wrong hands. Unprotected customer information, even if just an account name, can be used to craft phishing and impersonation attacks that can later on be used to attack not only your customer but also your business. ZSentry eliminates these risks with end-to-end strong encryption and two-factor user authentication, assuring all parties that only the authorized recipients can read the messages that you and your customers send.

The ZSentry solution allows anyone to verifiably notarize, digitally sign, send, receive, and confirm receipt of secure documents and email, with no prior experience, no email address change, no installation, and no download. ZSentry is a better, faster, and more cost-effective alternative to overnight delivery.

ZSentry satisfies international, US federal, and state requirements for digital signature of documents and secure document delivery, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), International Standards Organization (ISO) 17799, Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOA), and U.S. State Security Breach Notification Laws. Evidentiary laws may vary by jurisdiction.

ZSentry is a time-tested product, with anti-phishing, mutual authentication, and two-factor authentication technology first qualified by the Swedish Government's Ministry of Justice Statskontoret in 2001. ZSentry does not use ActiveX controls or cookies. Works with Windows, Mac, and Linux, using any current email software and web-browser. ZSentry is provided in two editions: Premium and Basic. If your organization is a HIPAA Covered Entity, HIPAA compliance requires the ZSentry Premium service. ZSentry Basic does not include all the functions of the Premium service (some of them required for regulatory compliance by organizations), and is not included in the ZSentry HIPAA Compliance Statement.

Letting your users get ZSentry Basic is easy. When you send a zmail to a new zmail user, you can choose to provide Free Reply choices. All choices enable FREE secure first-contact and reply.

ZSentry Premium

Site License with an unrestricted number of locations and devices. Up to the Account Capacity (number of seats), you can add or remove account users as needed. There is no limit of users for reading ZSentry messages. Works with what you have, including Google Apps and Outlook. Provides security and new functions such as encrypt and decrypt with 1-click, Self-Destruct, Secure Vault, and Return Receipt, for email, webmail, browsers, SMS, IM, and file storage solutions. Enables HIPAA, HITECH Safe Harbor, FERPA, GLBA, SOA, and FFIEC compliance. No Business Associate Agreement to sign.

No installation or plugins. Already integrated with Mail and Single-Sign-On in Desktop, Cloud, Web and Mobile platforms, without changes. Includes two-factor authentication, anti-spoofing, and secure first-contact capability, with authorized unlimited decryptions and encryptions per day. Each message and attachment is individually encrypted, timestamped in reference to the US NIST, and digitally certified.

Service includes a detailed Support Center, 24/7 self-management tools including password reset and recovery, Support Ticket submission, and phone support.

ZSentry Premium provides comprehensive message, security and document control services, preventing email phishing, email disclosure and impersonation fraud ("identity theft"). Includes a certified "ZSentry Verified" seal for each user, that is visible to the message recipients and is useful to enable trust. All security controls are available by means of a Dashboard that makes it easy to view, select and customize tracking, delivery, expiration, release, and several other ZSentry security services before sending a secure email. ZSentry messages can be read securely with a single-click, even on first contact and without registration. Recipients can reply securely without cost (using ZSentry Basic). Message transport encoding is optimized for deliverability and spam-trigger avoidance. Single-user or multiple-user accounts with customer self-management. You can also contact a ZSentry Certified Partner and make arrangements for remote or local support. ZSentry can be branded and customized by request, including the use of OTP authentication.

Premium Manager Account: offers centralized administration of users by an organization, while protecting user privacy.

The Premium Manager account may also include a resell license, so that Premium Managers may resell Premium User accounts from their multiple-user Premium Manager account.

ZSentry Verified seal: ZSentry Premium messages are sent with a certified ZSentry Verified seal, that can be clicked by recipients after they authenticate to read your message: click to see a sample. ZSentry message security information is provided when the recipient clicks on the ZSentry Verified seal logo to verify it. Recipients will know that the sender has a ZSentry Premium commercial account and that the sender took care in sending a secure, authenticated message to them -- and that's why the message is important.

Credential Recovery: For Premium Users and Managers, a Credential Recovery service is available at every page as a Recovery button or link, which is useful in case the password just cannot be remembered. To use this service, the user must first set it up with a security question and answer, which ZSentry does not have access to afterwards and are applied to encrypt the private recovery record. Users may keep the recovery record with themselves or safely store it in their encrypted and de-identified ZSentry area (default). Without the user's security question and answer, the private recovery record is useless. This service is 100% self-managed. ZSentry does not have a copy of users' ZSentry usercode, return code or password.

Credential Reset: In case of loss or compromise users can Reset their ZSentry Account by using a Reset button or link in any page. Does not require setup. This service is 100% self-managed. ZSentry does not have a copy of users' ZSentry usercode, return code or password.
